What is singing? One may ask. Perhaps there will be different answers according to one’s personal perception. The writer’s definition of singing is “a sequence of melodious sounds by a person’s voice.” There are basically five different voice types, namely soprano, alto, tenor, bass, and contralto. Why worry? Is there a cure?

Why do people worry? Is worry and anxiety really necessary? Here’s how Corrie Ten Boom described worry:  “Worrying is carrying tomorrow’s load with today’s strength—carrying two days at once. It is moving into tomorrow ahead of time. Worrying doesn’t empty tomorrow of its sorrows, it empties today of its strength.” Corrie Ten Boom, 1892-1983, was a Christian Holocaust survivor. When God Forgives . . .

The Scripture plainly states:  “If we say we have fellowship with him while we walk in darkness, we lie and do not practice the truth. The 46th Psalm begins: “God is our refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble. Therefore we will not fear though the earth gives way, though the mountains be moved into the heart of the sea, though its waters roar and foam, though the mountains tremble at its swelling” (Psalm 46:1-3). Saved and Lost? Impossible!

Once a person is saved, that is, accepted the Lord Jesus Christ as Savior, that person is saved for time and eternity. Born again believers cannot lose their salvation, according to the Scriptures. A person’s salvation in Jesus Christ is not a temporary situation, but absolutely eternal. The Friday before Easter Sunday is called Good Friday, on which the Crucifixion of Jesus Christ is commemorated by Christians worldwide. Holy Week or Passion Week is the week preceding Easter.
