Seek The LORD!

God’s prophet Isaiah issues an invitation to “abundant life.” He writes, “Seek the LORD while He may be found; call upon Him while He is near; let the wicked  forsake his way, and the unrighteous man his thoughts; let him return to the LORD, that He may have compassion on him, and to our God for He will abundantly pardon” (Isaiah 55:6,7). The Incomparable God

Throughout the Holy Scriptures, we can clearly identify God’s greatness in many instances. Let us keep in mind that God is sovereign and He possesses ultimate power. Rejoice in the Lord!

The letter to the Philippians is one of the apostle Paul’s “prison letters,” which he wrote in Rome. The general theme of the letter is “christian experience.” In its concluding chapter, Paul exhorts and encourages the believers to “Rejoice in the Lord always; and again I will say, rejoice” (Philippians 4:4). “To me to live is Christ and to die is gain,” writes the apostle Paul in his letter to the Philippian Church (Phil. 1:21). There are many and varied reasons why we make excuses. An excuse is a reason or explanation to either defend or justify one’s words or actions in a particular instance. For example, the home owner took immediate action to prevent the fire from spreading to his neighbor’s property. And there is the lawyer who attends court to defend his client from criminal charges.
