As a “born again” believer in the Lord Jesus Christ for many years, and a member of the Christian community, I am shocked, saddened, and appalled at what is happening today in the Christian community. We are living a day and age of immorality, rebellion, and apostasy. The term apostasy is from the greek word ‘apostasia’, meaning abandonment, renunciation, or departure. In the spiritual application, apostasy is rebellion or a falling away from the Christian faith.
