“Fear not . . . . be not dismayed!”

} “Fear not, for I am with you; be not dismayed, for I am your God; I will strengthen you, I will help you, I will uphold you with my righteous right hand” (Isaiah 41:10). This is a most interesting and tremendous statement and promise from God Almighty. Why should I believe God?

God is most trustworthy. God has made it known to the world: “For my thoughts are not your thoughts, neither are your ways my ways, declares the LORD. For as the heavens are higher than the earth, so are my ways higher than your ways and my thoughts than your thoughts” (Isaiah 55:8,9). Think of the unfathomable distance between heaven and earth. “Hallelujah for the Cross!”

This blog is appropriately titled: “Hallelujah for the Cross’” The reason is that the cross speaks vividly of the suffering, death, and shed blood of the Lord Jesus Chris, the Son of God, who died on the cross for the complete forgiveness of mankind’s sins. “Never, Never, Never!”

We have heard it said; “Never say never.” This is absolutely true, and for good reason because  anything can happen at any time, to anyone in any place, and in any situation.  For the Christian, it is only by the wisdom, grace, and mercy of Almighty God something will be prevented from actually taking place.
