Praising God

 “Now these, the singers, the heads of fathers’ houses of the Levites, were in the chambers of the temple, free from other service, for they were on duty day and night”(1 Chronicles 9:33). The Bible gives us a detailed explanation of love. The Apostle Paul writes in part, “Love is patient, love is kind. It does not envy, it does not boast, it is not proud. The Sovereign God of heaven and Creator of the universe has set forth in His Word exactly what he requires of His people. “There are six things that the LORD hates, seven are an abomination to Him.” So wrote King Solomon (Proverbs 6:16). The Glory of God

One of God’s many great attributes is His “glory.” The word “glory” means worshipful praise, adoration, honor, and thanksgiving to God. Not surprisingly God said this of Himself. “I am the LORD; that is my Name; and My glory will I not give to another, neither my praise to carved idols” (Isaiah 42:8). Sovereignty means unlimited power and authority. Whereas the Bible presents much about the Sovereignty of God, yet there is no attempt in the scriptures to prove God’s existence.
