The Reality of Heaven
The Bible begins with this statement: “In the beginning God created the heavens and the earth” (Genesis 1:1). Observe: heavens (plural) and earth (singular). It would seem that God created more than one heaven. Genesis 2:1 says, “Thus the heavens and the earth were finished, and all the host of them.” Also, Genesis 2:4 “These are the generations of the heavens and the earth when they were created.” These Scriptures are in agreement that God created more than one heaven.
