Sovereignty means unlimited power and authority.  Whereas the Bible presents much about the Sovereignty of God, yet there is no attempt in the Scriptures to prove God’s existence.  The very first words in all of the holy Scriptures tell us, “In the beginning God created the heavens and the earth” (Genesis 1:1). The Bible declares “God works all things according to the counsel of His will” (Ephesians 1:11). This means God Almighty has the supreme authority and absolute power over the universe which He created. No one else has that authority.
