There is something very special about mothers that attracts our love, respect, and admiration. First, we should always thank God for mothers because they are of a very ‘special kind’ in the world.
We can reflect on their love, thoughtfulness, kindness, and understanding; not only on Mother’s Day, but at all times. They brought us into the world, raised us, fed us, trained us, advised us, protected us, and did for us at times what we were unable to do for ourselves.
The following is a Biblical tribute to mothers that is noteworthy:
“She looks well to the ways of her household and does not eat the bread of idleness. Her children rise up and call her blessed; her husband also, and he praises her: many women have done excellently, but you surpass them all” (Proverbs 31:27-29).
