“CONSIDER CHRISTMAS!”

Here is an acrostic of the word CHRISTMAS. It represents some of what the Bible teaches about the Lord Jesus Christ whose Christians celebrate every year.

Christ –  “Christ the power of God and the wisdom of God”

(1 Corinthians 1:24)

Highest  —- “He will be great and will be called the Son of the Highest

(Luke 1:32)

Redeemer  —  “For I know that my Redeemer lives”

(Job 19 19:25)

Incarnate  — “Jesus Christ is God Incarnate

(John 1:14)

Savior  — “The Father sent His Son to be the Savior of the world”

(1 John 4:14)

Truth  —  “I am the way, and the Truth, and the life”

(John 14:6)

Mighty God  — “His name shall be called “Mighty God

(Isaiah 9:6)

Alpha and Omega  —  “I am Alpha and Omega, the first and the last”

(Revelation 22:13)

Son — “This my beloved Son, with whom I am well pleased”

(Matthew 3:17)

Here’s wishing everyone a very Merry Christmas. May it highlight the hope and reason for the season by offering peace and joy through the coming of Jesus Christ.

We know also that the Son of God has come and has given us understanding, so that we may know Him who is true. And we are in Him who is true—even in His Son Jesus Christ. He is the true God and eternal life” (1 John 5:20 NIV).
