God does exist. The evidence of God’s existence is all around us. The Bible says this about God. “And without faith it is impossible to please Him, for whoever would draw near to God must believe that He exists and that He rewards those who seek him” (Hebrews 11:6). Faith believes that God exists.
“The essence of faith consists in believing and receiving what God has revealed, and may be defined as that trust in the God of the Scriptures. And in Jesus Christ whom He has sent, which receives Him as Lord and Savior and impels to loving obedience and good works” (C. I. Scofield, D.D.).
The Holy Bible (the Scriptures, or God’s Word) begins with God, and is God’s revelation to all mankind about His existence. Those who have doubts about God’s existence must commit to reading the Bible which teaches everything one needs to know about God who He is, where He is, and what He does.
The Bible is God’s means of speaking to mankind. And it is most trustworthy. “All Scripture is breathed out by God and profitable for teaching, for reproof, for correction, and for training in righteousness, that the man of God may be complete, equipped for every good work” (2 Timothy 3:16,17).
Here’s what the Bible says about the Bible: “For the word of God is living and active, sharper than any two-edged sword, piercing to the division of soul and of spirit, of joints and of marrow, and discerning the thoughts and intentions of the heart” (Hebrews 4:12). No other book has ever, and will ever be able to do this.
The book of Genes is the introduction to the entire Bible. It is — the “book of beginnings” — starting with the self-revelation of God. Genesis 1:1 says “In the beginning, God created the heavens and the earth.” Chapter one of Genesis presents all the things God created and the different days on which they were created, then concludes: “And God saw everything that he had made, and behold, it was very good. And there was evening and there was morning, the sixth day” (Genesis 1:31).
There are people who question the existence of God especially when the covid-19 pandemic happened and resulted in human suffering, sickness, and the deaths of millions. Others have asked,“Where was God when six million jews died in the Holocaust? ”This was not an act of God, but an unforgivable cruel and inhumane act headed by Adolf Hitler. No one should blame God for what man does.
Consider things which no mortal man could ever bring into existence. The vastness of planet earth with the sun by day, and the moon and stars at night. Think of the four seasons each year; winter, spring, summer, and autumn. And each season has a specific part in God’s nature plan. Winter is cold and summer is hot. Spring causes plants to revive after winter. During autumn trees and plants shed their leaves.
The sun is an enormous source of energy, warmth, and light that we cannot exist without. Human life, animal life, and plant life depend on the sun’s rays and light. The earth also makes a complete circle around the sun every day.
The human body is another great example of God’s creation. The Bible says the human is “fearfully and wonderfully made” (Psalm 139:14). This means we are exceptionally and extremely well created. God has given man various abilities to plan and do things. The human brain processes an innumerable amount of information simultaneously every day.
The creation of the computer is genius; a remarkable thing created and maintained by man. However, it cannot duplicate the human mind and brain exclusively created by God. Unlike man, God is omnipotent, which means God has unlimited power; able to do anything. God is also omniscient, meaning His knowledge is unlimited.
God is unique in that He is the only true, living, and eternal God. And who has declared of Himself, “Before me no god was formed, nor shall there be any after me. I, I am the LORD and besides me there is no savior” (Isaiah 43:10,11).
The prophet Isaiah also recorded another declaration God made, “Thus says the LORD, your Redeemer, who formed you from the womb; “I am the LORD, who made all things, who alone stretched out the heavens, who spread out the earth by myself” (Isaiah 44:24). No mortal man would ever be able to do these things. God and God alone “made heaven and earth, the sea, and all that is in them” (Psalm 146:6).
Almighty Creator of everything
That’s In heaven and on earth.
From the greatest to the least.
From the complex to the simple.
O God, the heavens declare your glory;
And the sky proclaims your handiwork.

Indeed, man has created a wide variety of things; many of which we can’t live without. For example, prescription and non-prescription medicines. Also the computer and its various applications and functions to keep commerce and industry running efficiently. However, lest we forget or ignore, it is solely God who equips the human mind and brain with various abilities, wisdom, knowledge, and understanding necessary to make these things possible.
I believe there is only One God, who exists in three Persons as God the Father, God the Son, and God the Holy Spirit. I believe God is Creator, Sustainer, and Supreme Ruler of the universe. And He is all-powerful, all-knowing, and always present. I also believe the Holy Bible is God’s divinely, infallible, authoritative revelation to all mankind.
