Knowing Jesus Christ as Savior involves the recognition of His Lordship in our lives. One of the many great and wonderful things about being believers in the Lord Jesus Christ is that we are citizens of heaven and also members of the house or household of God (Ephesians 2:19). The Bible says, “But Christ is faithful over God’s house as a Son. The Sin Question

Sin is transgression of God’s divine laws. God is holy, just, and righteous, while mortal man is unholy, unjust, and unrighteous. Unrighteousness means wrongdoing, which is offense against God. The Scripture teaches that all unrighteousness is sin (1 John 5:17). Sin is lawlessness. (1 John 3:4).  William MacDonald makes a very insightful commentary about sin. “Sin is lawlessness (1 Jn. 3:4), the rebellion of the creature’s will against the will of God. A mystery is defined as a secret or something that’s unexplainable or difficult to understand. In a biblical sense, a mystery is a previously hidden truth but now divinely revealed. There are many wonderful reasons why I believe that a tribute is absolutely fitting for my dear father. In preparation to write this tribute, I thought of several “bold” or “catchy” headings such as “My Dad—a true Christian,” “My Dad—a One-of-a-kind,” “My Dad—a real Gentleman,” and “My Dad—what a Man!” However, knowing that my father wouldn’t want these accolades, I believe he would suggest making the heading simply “My Dad—a Tribute.” My dad, Eglon Cutberth Daniels was born January 19, 1904 and passed away at age 87.
