The Bible begins with this statement: “In the beginning God created the heavens and the earth” (Genesis 1:1). Observe: heavens (plural) and earth (singular).  It would seem that God created more than one heaven. To say God is omnipotent means God has unlimited power. “Omni” means all and “potent” means power. God is Almighty and all-powerful. God is unique in this divine attribute because it cannot be truly applied to any mortal man, including scientists or philosophers. One of the many great and wonderful things about being believers in the Lord Jesus Christ is that we are citizens of heaven and also members of the house or household of God (Ephesians 2:19). The Bible says, “But Christ is faithful over God’s house as a Son.
